Tockico Shocks + OEM Springs

Anyone think ill have a problem with this. The shocks are stiffer, so I dont think itll matter much if I go back to the OEM springs. If your wondering why I want to do that, its because the turbo setup I have is so damn heavy that it basically dropped the car another inch all the way around, which for city driving isnt a good thing . I have tockicos+ebiachs right now.

The turbo should not be that heavy. Some thing is funny here.

it doesnt drop the back end - it drops the front (and the front is only lower by like .5 inches), and with the intercooler hanging off the lip the lowest point in the car is like 1.5 inches from the ground, and yes the intercooler is as far up as its going to go, its still hitting the ground far too much for my taste. The reason I want to put the OEM springs back on all the way around is to give the entire car a lift, I dont want it to be lifted up a bit in the front and have the sag look in the rear, plus with the rear raised, I dont have to worry about the exhaust hitting the ground when in reverse, I just wanted to know if anyone could forsee a problem with me putting the OEM springs back on and leaving the aftermarket shocks.

There is no problem with doing what you are talking about. I currently have the Blues with the OEM springs and the ride is nice, 4 X 4, but nice. It is a little stiffer than stock but I like it.

The ride height is set by the springs. The quality of ride is set by the stiffness of the springs and the ability of the shock to prevent the car from bouncing on the springs. So with that said, if you put the BLUES on your car with the OEM springs, you will be at the stock height with a much better ride quality. It will be a little stiffer but much more stable and less body roll.

oem springs with tokicos will look much like any other stock 7thgen civics you see on the street. My ride height seemed to have raised by a little bit compared to stock shocks but it's really not noticeable.
