Need some help.

Ok I have read and wasnt satisfied with what I read or even knew if it was up to date. So I thought I would ask the guru's. I have an 01 sedan with 17 in rims and 205/40/17 tires. I am looking for a drop but nothing drastic. I live in a city with a lot of potholes and I have to go over speed bumbs every day. I also have 2 12's in a large box that already lower the rear some. I dont really want to buy coilovers. I am also planning on getting a lip kit soon.

So I was thinking a few things:
1) eibach either pro kit or sportline springs
2) tein s tech (although I have heard these sag)

Another thing is I dk which shocks to get, I have see people talk about the tokico blues and also the konis. When it comes to this I dont know which to choose.

So if someone could please help me with this I would appreicate it. Thanks.

If you want a really good ride, get some nice coil overs (pretty expensive but superior ride compared to shock and spring combos). Whatever spings you buy are going to end up saging somewhat down the line- nothing really drastic unless they are super cheap. You probably want to get something thats fully adjustable. Tein SS (super streets) are fully adjustable and are really nice. There is a group buy that is going on. let me grab the link, check it out. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=283551

Pro-kit or sportlines will be fine. I would go with the tokicos since it sounds like the civic is your daily driver. The blues should be more on the soft side and will be more comfortable than konis. Being a sedan and having subs, theres is still a good chance that you may sag. Coilovers can fix the sag problem but IMO sportlines or pro-kit along with the tokico blues will suit you very well.
