%&$#&$ bolt!

i got my blues and i was able to put the front in but when i tried to undo the bolt in the rear it would not budge...

half a can of wd-40 later....still nothing
so i have the blues in the front and stock in the back...
any way i can break the hold of the bolt in the rear?

i really don't wanna take it to a shop cuz the rears are pretty simple to put on.

WD 40 around rubber bushings isn't a terribly wise idea. Anyways, I assume you mean the bottom one, you need to compress the rear with a jack to get the bolt to release, if its extended its basically being pinned in place by the shock being expanded.

Just put some muscle into it, I did it like a week ago and it just needs a breaker bar or something...or a 240 lbs guy to pull on it

if you are taking about the bottom bolt holding the shock to the lower control arm, relieve some of the weight off by jacking the control arm up. Then with a FLAT center punch, push it out. It should come off

The controll arm bolt, carefull about using a breaker bar. I hear quite a few cases of the seize bolts breaking due to breaker bars. I had to use anti seize spray and a tourqe wrench. (air tools yay! )

ha after about a week and lots of cursing, lots of liquid wrench and skinning of the knuckles...i have triumphed!

i just turned and turned and turned until i heard a bang....and it finally came off. the damn bolt was stuck to the bushings and it would force the bolt back to the original position. so i just maintained the pressure and it finally gave in.

the other side was very easy to take off and hardly needed the use of a breaker bar.

so far the ride feels more rigid but i don't have the bouncing that occurs after big bumps...especially in the rear.
