GC coilovers wont lower in front.
well i got the ground control coilovers installed on my 04' civic from this site sportcompactonly and when it was finished installed the back was dropped nicely. but the front is still at stock height. i tried screwing the adjustables up and down but the only thing that happened was the front end got even higher... even when i put the adjustable on the lowest thread, it still doesnt look low at all. there is like a 5 finger gap or larger between the tire and the fender? what is happening here. i need help thanks!
Hmm. Not sure. You took it all the way down as in towards the ground on the threading? Do you have some pics so we can see exactly what might be wrong? I don't have experience with GC yet. Still waiting on my friend's GC coilovers to show up for his Talon.
in order to lower the car, you have to thread the adjusters UP compressing the spring. This will lower the car.
Another reason sleeved coilovers suck, because you loose shock travel when you lower the ride height.

Post a picture of them installed. if you have as much room as you say, I'm guessing you didn't install them right.

I would like to quote the GC advertisement...
A) some shocks / struts require grinding / machining to fit coil-over hardware
If I were you I would take the car back to the shop who installed it and tell them to do it right. Make a printout of this page along with the supplied pictures of the sleeve in the correct position.

They put the fronts on the rear and the rears on the front. Get your money back, take it somewhere where the people working on it know what theyre doing
