uneven drop
uneven drop
the progress springs i installed said there would be a difference of .2 inches, with more of a drop in the back, but the difference is much more extreme.
In the front there is maybe a half inch gap, but in the back the wheels are tucked a quarter inch! it doesnt look too too bad, hardly even noticeable unless you were looking cause of the shadows. but would this cause any problems? any idea as to why this happened? i messed up putting my new shocks and springs on and for a few days the car's weight was resting entirely on the springs. would this have caused the springs to compact too much?
i also need an alignment reallllly bad, but since the wheel is tucked i cant, so the fenders will have to be rolled. what a pain man, what a pain

ive got your answer...its all about the ground your car's on. very rarely will you ever be parked on a perfectly flat surface. sooo- the weight distrubution of your car will greatly effect the wheel gaps all the way around.

because fi you look at our car, if you had a perfectly level drop the back would be tucked and the front wouldent. Just the way the car is lol
yeah but no matter what ground im on the rear is always tucked and more of a drop than the front, much more dramatic, even when the front is downhill from the back.
what is camber? i mean i have an idea, and i think that its ridiculous

camber is when the wheels go like this / \ which your wheels are like if they're tucked. u can do a search for pics
i've been riding with an uneven drop for a while on stock shocks (with a system in the trunk) and i havent had any problems.
all our cars are different tho, some cars shocks will blow right away im fortunate enough to be a lucky one
i'll be upgrading soon tho.

i'll be upgrading soon tho. it is defiantely because they havent broken in yet give it a few days of driving, but the rear wheel well is not the same dimension as the front (smaller) front is bigger because they have to make room for the tire to turn. so the rear will look like it is sitting lower just measure the distance from the ground to the body it should be fairly even at each end.

my rear was the same way when I was riding on stock struts/shocks with my eaibach springs, now with my tokico struts it fixed things
thanks everyone, i haven't been having any problems with it, in fact the ride is a little better than when it was not lowered.
my camber is real bad, the wheels are maybe at a 80 degree angle from the ground.
