Progress 22mm W/O Tie....Do I need brackets?
I bought a Progress 22mm rear sway bar but the guy I bought it from wanted to keep the tie bar.
I'm not sure if I can use this without the brackets it came with for use on the tie bar or if the stock brackets will go around the Progress bushings.
anyone know for sure?

I don't think the stock ones will fit a 22mm bar. But you can try it isn't that hard. Brace the control arm, unscrew a bracket and see it it fits. If not, you will need brackets . You can get OEM Acura ones (DC5R) or you can call progress and get theirs.

I just off the phone with someone at Progress. They said that they can sell me the tie bar and hardware but all they can do is cut the price of the whole rear end kit in half...very $$. She thinks that I will need the U-brackets for it...I actually have the bushings though...lol. Also, she said that she's not sure you can even use another 22mm bar with that tie bar because of the shape...they're designed to go together.

buy the Energy suspension 7/8" poly bushings and brackets. $14, call it a day.
If you have 22mm rubber or poly inserts that fit the stock brackets (Honda or Comptech sell them), then you can put those in the stock brackets. Otherwise you'll need a bushing and bracket kit.

Energy Suspension makes 22mm polyurethane bushings that come with the brackets. I have them on my DC5R bar.
I imagine since you're losing a little bit of spacing between the subframe and the bushings (ie the thickness of the progress tie bar) you may be able to offset that difference by taking a set of height-adjustable endlinks (Grey's) and rotate the bar a little. There shouldn't be any loss in performance on the sway bar. Oh, but you may knock the control arms a little if you're really low.

I have grey's endlinks for the rear also. I'm going to look at Energy Suspension for sure
