Need Help, How Much To Lower The Civic?

hey guys, i've been at a delima, i want to lower my 02 civic sedan, it's currently running stock ride hieght, but i've ordered some aerospeed RS-GT 17 inch wheels, with 205/35/17 yoko tires, and i want to know what is the right amount of drop, so the car looks good, but not slammed to the floor, i want it to blend in really nicely, and don;t want that low rider look that some people have, i was my wheels and tires outside my fenderwall,, but no wheelgap, what can u guys suggest, because i'm a total noob at the civic thing.

205/35/17? WOW.. thats a pretty low profile. Most go with 205/40/17... post pics!

the ride will suck on 205-35-17's, should have gone with 205-45-17's, much more comfort, and yet not too much of a bulky look.

i would say we should sticky a DIY for searching, but then nobody would search for it and we would have all these threads saying "what should i search for" or "how do i search?" maybe even "how do i search to find out if i need 01 upper mounts so that i can search for searching about teins" that would be classic. Anyway, those tires are pretty thin, but i would say no less than a 2 1/2 drop or lower depending on the roads in your area.

go with ebiach sportlines, and your have prety much no wheel gap in back and 2 fingers in front. it will give you a nice lower look. but not slammed.
