Supposed to eliminate clicking noise on low drop.
Not sure it will be worth $260..

My question is WHY do you want aftermarket tie rods? What is the purpose unless you want to run more than -3 degrees of front camber, aftermarket tie rods won't do much.

i would say just stick with oem ones.
what do you mean by has play? is the boot busted?
and what you mean by frozen? if you mean its "locked" onto the steering bar, then its normal.

well i hit a nasty bump in the road a while ago. i check the front end of my car and the left front wheel has some side to side play. so when i drive the car feels a little loose when i turn. also both of the lock nuts on the tie rods are so rusy and frozen that i have to heat up the nut to get it loose. its a real pain when i have to do an alignment on my car.
Hey, you're Don's little brother! I used to work with him... I think we met at his wedding.
Anyway, I had my tie-rod ends replaced a couple weeks ago because of the exact same symptoms (plus the nasty clunking sound when you turn sharply at low speeds). I couldn't keep it aligned and I wore the front tires bald. Now it handles tight and steers true, and it's actually fun to drive again. So yeah, OEM tie-rods are awesome.
