Can Anyone Help Solve This...?

i was trying to lower the front further down and the lock ring is jammed. the threads above and below look fairly okay, but the adjusting lock/ring is stuck and i cannot move it up or down. i tried using a bolt and nut loosener spray and that didnt help. i even tried using a hammer to see if it would move, and nope, didnt move.

any suggestions on what i should do? i want to move it back up, but i wont move.

What kind?
Were the threads clean before you started moving them? If they weren't and you caught something underneath, you're effectively locking it in place because a pebble will just dig into those aluminum rings. Check the threads and make sure they're clear of debris and also not flat spotted. If you couldn't advance the ring with a hammer, you're either locking it tighter (going the wrong way), or something really has it jammed. I used to loctite collars in place and I could always break that (150 lb-ft) with a few taps from a rubber hammer.

Spanner wrench, hammer, hit it in whatever direction it'll move. Work it back and forth if you have to. Eventually its gotta break free. If you're totally screwed, take a dremel and cut off the lockring, you'll have to buy another one, but it'll take it of. Just make sure you don't dremel into the threads. Go most of the way from both sides, then snap the ring in half with a chisel.
