Spring Compressor Alternatives
anything else to use than a spring compressor to install my Tein S-Techs?? i cant locate a spring compressor to rent so i wondering what u ppl did... NO I DONT WANNA TAKE IT TO A PRO!!

I had 2 friends helping with mine, and we managed stepping on it while taking it off and 2 ppl push down as 1 does the bolt when ur putting em on, then of course finish tightening once they're on ur car..

You know, even though I've had a compressor on hand for all my spring installs, a few times we didn't even bother using it. The nuts came right off, the springs didn't pop or anything. And putting new springs on was dead easy, again, without a spring compressor.

Rep Power: 311 ok this is what i do get two tie down straps the wratciting ones. loop one around the spring on each side and tighten them up. works good
