I Got Really Bad Front Suspensions

My 2002 Civic SI why 83k on it now has a really bad front suspension problem. I bounce everytime i hit a pothole, steers to the left when i let go and steering wheel shakes when i go about 120kmph. I really need them replaced or fixed, I'm totally car stupid so I'm not sure if its the suspension or shocks or if they actually are the same thing. How much would OEM ones installed to replace the fronts cost roughly? Should I look at replacing them with aftermarkets, even just the front? How much would a full set to lower my car cost anyways if its not much more? Anything will help me out, thanks a lot.

1, sounds like your shocks are blown. (OEM is too expensive for what you get, Pick up some Tokico HP shocks and you'd be golden.)
2. You probably really need an alignment (Do you remember the last time you had one done? If not do so now.)
3. If the steering wheel shakes while going straight, thats ushually a wheel balance thing...

yes i absolutely need an alignment long ago but don't have time to do it. will getting an alignment fix my steering wheel also?

how much do those Tokico HP shocks cost installed?

How much would a full set to lower the car a bit cost? if i'm going to fix the shocks might as well try to lower it too.

tokico's are about 400-450 and whatever installation will cost you. You, personally, need to pick the springs you want to lower the car. I wouldn't go too low on tokico's. Again, look at the FAQ and search for parts, and look in the review section.

not neccasarily,

if he only has one strut blown he would have to buy two after market ones.

I got honda oem strut installed by my mechanic for $300 cdn,
