Question SPC Front Camber Bolt size question

Hey guys,
I guess I should have posted this thread on this forum to get more feedback, but anyways here it goes...
I was getting ready to install my SPC Camber bolts as I read Grey's DIY. I followed the instructions all the way till removing the upper bolt, but I haven't removed it yet since I noticed that the SPC bolt has a smaller diameter than the OEM bolt. Is this ok even though both seem to have diferent diameters? I know it may sound like a newbie quation but I've never done this before. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Mike.

That is because you have a 2004. The 2004 has 16mm mount bolts while the 2001-2002 has 14mm mount bolts. You can use them, but you run the risk of them sliding out of place while driving.

No way!! OMG, thanks Robb. That's so weird, supposedly I order the right type of bolt 01 and up. I thought these bolts would fit ok on my 04, but obviously I was wrong. I mean I don't want to be driving and have that bolt come out of place. Damn it, does that mean SPC doesn't make 16mm camber bolts? Would I have the same problem in the back? I haven't yet look at it.

Would I have the same 16mm hole problem in the back or the problem is just in the front?

Don't sell them. Ask your seller if you could return them and have them send you the right ones. The part number for the 16mm bolts is 81280.

nope...you shoudnt have the same problem in the back. the back is actually a replacement for the stock camber setting. it connects the body to the spindle.

Cool, sounds like the problem is sloved. I talked to the seller and he's willing to exchange my camber bolts for the right one. Thanks for the help guys.
