RSX Suspension for 04 Ex

Hey I have an 04 ex coupe, and I am looking to do some suspension upgrades and I heard that the RSX suspension is compatible with the em2's. Could anyone let me know what would be some good upgrades off of the RSX that would work with our rides. Thanks

Rear sway bar is he best mod you can get from the rsx or you can swap the entire suspension. But I do not think it is worth it to do that.

The most common complaint I hear about the RSX is the suspension. Its basically same as ours so I'd invest in some other products. However, the rsx type s or type r rear sway bar is a great, cheap mod.

Would it be cheaper to get tein ss coilovers?

I heard the stock rsx suspension is not so great. Are you planning on swapping the engine of one later on?

IT is compatible, but the springs are different lengths. It might look weird and it isn't that much of an upgrade.

So, if I bought a JDM 22mm rear sway bar meant for an RSX, it would fit on an '04 coupe?

yes it would be a direct replacement. Just need to get new bushings and use greys endlinks. you can use your stock endlinks, but they are weak. I am not sure about the stock brackets, but from what I have been told they will work.

Let see if I got this right. JDM is 22mm and the Civic is 12mm in diameter. JDM's size is almost twice as the OEM Civic. Which 'could' mean that the OEM Civic bushing will not fit the JDM bar. I dont even think the 12mm's bracket will fit the 22mm JDM ones. RSX has the 19mm and using the stock bracket for a 22mm doesnt look like pushing the limit of the bracket can hold. However, 12mm bracket to 22mm bracket?

Boiler's 22mm comptech bar came with bushings that fit in stock brackets.

I'll know for sure if I can talk myself into upgrading from my 19mm to the comptech + endlinks.

Anything is better than stock though, so it would be better info if he's coming from the 19mm rsx rear bar?

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll just invest in some aftermarket suspension upgrades. I was thinking about the Tein Basic Damper Coilover Kit. Anyone have any suggestions? Also any other tips or recommendations for other aftermarket parts/companies? Thanks
