Rep Power: 0 This should all be resolved soon. The problem was D2 didn't inform us of different spring lengths at first. The replacement springs will be provided and shipped free of charge.
I don't see this being an issue in the future as all communication issues with D2 in regards to spring rates which the coilovers come with has been resolved.

Rep Power: 311 ^^^^ That is what i call customer service!!!! He is taking care of his customers directly, even though the mix up was MAINLY due to D2 over in Taiwan. Only reason we have such long waits for things is becuase D2 is on the otherside of the planet.

Rep Power: 311 quick question. Do you have trouble closing your hood with the adjustment stick and dial in? I find that if I turn the stick all the way soft, it sticks up more then usual, thus not letting the hood close all the way. Now if i turn the stick all the way hard, the stick gets lower and goes into the dial more, almost sitting flushly letting the hood close.
As of right now i just drive with the dials on, but the sticks off. ANyone else have this same problem? Also the rear adjustment sticks seem to be stick really high up, They are not flush with the dial at all. Is this the same for everyone else?

Rep Power: 0 Sounds like D2 tried to cheap out and use RSX or EP3 rear springs since they have the same suspension setup but longer springs.
Maybe they tried to streamline their manufacturing and only make one rear spring for all? Or it could just be a sorting error in manufacturing.

Rep Power: 311 This is what i got in the mail today
This is what i got in the mail today
The springs were Clearly labeled EP3 Rear. So im sure they are okay to use with the civic.
Im assuming i put it on the shock with the smaller spring on the bottom and the taller spring up top, seperated by the purple metal seperator.
Is this some kind of new design? Is this an improvement? It reminds me of the B&G coilover Dual SPring design. The original D2 rears didn't come with this kind of spring.
*Im SURE these new springs will resolve the height issue that some of us D2 owners had with the rear springs being too tall. These new springs are definitly shorter. I just hope it rides just as good!

Rep Power: 0 yeah, i just go mine today. are you sure that the springs will solve the height issue? it looks like the two springs equal the length of the old springs. by the way, when are you installing them?

Rep Power: 0 I have my D2's installed and i dont have any issues closing my hood at all. If i have them all the way tight or all the way loose, i can still close my hood just fine without anything hitting. I do have a 2004 if that makes any difference.
I dont have any issues with the rears either, i have them slammed pretty good and no height issues at all. I dont hardly even have a finger gap on there. The ride quality on these things are perfect. They ride a lot better than the Hayames did and the biggest thing I like is no oversteer issues with them like the Hayames. So far i'm totally satisfied with this suspension.
Here is a pic of my rear drop. I'm assuming I probably have the correct springs on mine.

Rep Power: 311 where your adjustment sticks of different length? i had 4 sticks 2 of them where slightly shorter then the others. I used the short one for the front. If i turn the sticks all the way hard the **** goes down and sits flush with the dial. The looser i turn it, the higher it starts to stick up. ALmost like when you unscrew something.

nope, mine were all the same length. if i loosen it all the way (turn it counterclockwise) the thing raises up quite a bit, but i can still close my hood and it wont hit. So maybe I just have 4 shorter ones, not sure. I think my springs are correct to considering the drop on my car is slammed pretty good. I'll post full body pics after this weekend, we have a car meet coming up here in phoenix this weekend. Should be good pics and i'll post them after the meet.

Rep Power: 0 so, to get this straight...the NEW larger of the two springs goes on the bottom, then the purple separator, then the NEW smaller of the two springs?? also, i thought the EP3 springs had a different spring rate than the ES1/EM2??

Rep Power: 394 that looks awesome for great service at www.urbanimport.com and for D2...
Yeah the helper spring doesnt really effect the ride height much, It is only really there to keep the spring in place so that it doesnt fall off when you jack up the car.

Rep Power: 0 so can anyone confirm that these are the correct spring rates? the new springs were labled "EP3 rear"...and EP3 has higher spring rates than EM2/ES1

Rep Power: 311 Yea mines are in now. The height issue is totally fixed. With the locks all the way down. im extremely tucking the rear tires. You cannot see the top half of the tire.
*tip: raise your car to the hieght yuo want it before you put it all back on the car. its hard as **** to turn the lock nuts. I turned the rears up 3 threads each and stopped becuase i was exhuasted.
