Exclamation help on rear hayames

hey,

i bought an used set of rear hayames WITHOUT the uppermount and wanted to know what i would need in order to use these with my stock uppermounts, if possible? i dont have a good knowledge of suspension and hope that couple members here did

i tried using the components from my stock uppermount to work these rear hayames but it didnt work because the washer from the OEM strut doesnt fit since the strut pole on the hayame is larger then the OEM. i know theirs others but if anyone can tell me exactly what i need in order to work these rear hayames using my rear stock upper mounts.

i tried using a replacement washer but it just slides right thru the strut pole. i think hayame makes a "specialized" washer to fit onto their strut poles

here are couple pics of the rear hayames for civic 01-03. uppermount-less
if anyone needs spare hayame parts, i got em

thanks for any help

I'd call SPW. I don't think it's made to work with the stock uppermount without Hayame parts so you might as well get the Hayame uppermounts. 323-268-8382

From the look of it, the rear upper mount should work. Give it a try!

The problem is that the center metal tube in the uppermount (enclosed in rubber) won't go through the strut pole because it's too small for the Hayame strut. That's why the stock washer won't go over it (the hole is the same size as the tube in the uppermount). You need the Hayame washer, uppermount tube, rubber housing, and that VERY small ring.
