Suspension Question

I need to replace my front struts so I figure it's a good time to upgrade my whole suspension. I'm a bit confused about what to do though. I would like a spring and strut/shock combination, like coilovers, but I dont need them to be adjustable. I've looked at the H&R Cup Kit and liked it, but I only want around a 1" drop. Is there anything else like that kit that will replace the whole suspension, and I dont need it to be adjustable. I've searched but cannot find anything. Thanks for your help.

Spoon has a non adjustable kit, but it is way expensive. The HR cup kit is a myth and for all we know, will never come out, so don't hold your breath on that. Coils are a pain the *** to get the straight. Get a set of konis with a set of nice springs. Search around for different types of springs.

BTW how have you gotten so many points with only 40 posts?

If I decide to go with a good coilover kit, like H&R or KW, what else do I need. I want to make sure to get everything I need, but also only what I need. Thanks.

Read the suspension FAQ before you buy anything, please.

HR doesn't have a coilover kit nor the cup kit yet. Tein (basic and ss), Hayame, B&G, KW, D2, JIC, Progress, are the coils out now. Please search and carefully review the pros and cons of each coilover before you buy them. they aren't a cheap investment. With Teins, you will need an upper mount bearing and/or upper mount.

It is also suggested you get a camber kit. SPC is the one of choice, but Ingalls, OBX and a few others make them.
