I did some research and I am leaning away from the Progress coilovers. I had H&R springs before and they were amazing. Highest quality ride with awesome handling. I see that they make full coilovers now so I'm considering those. Should I go with that, KW or Teins?
My price range is 9-1200. I am sponsered through Dezod so that shouldn't be hard to get. I daily drive my car (for now) and plan on a lot of road racing this year. Whatcha think will be best? I am assuming KWs because I know they're extremely durable and have a lot of adjustments. But I dont know much about the quality of Tein. I do know however, that my H&Rs dramatically impressed my and even though the dampening isn't adjustable I'd still consider giving them my business.

I say go with the hayames coilovers, alot of members have them and they say they are awesome.
Too bad they're on back order for a couple of months lol...
well, KW's are awesome. great quality, but pricey. H&R's are great too. they have TUV certification which means their quality is amazing pretty much. Teins however, are the only ones to my knowledge to have 16 levels of dampening adjustment, so if you feel like driving a little harder on one day more than the other, you can. just some info for you. hope it helps.

I am going with the kw's. They are stainless steel which prevents against corrosion and they are light as a ****. Helps with your unsprung weight

Had them for about a year and through the winter too...
still rides like i just installed them...I'm satisfied...
But I do get sqeaking in the rear passenger and some popping noises in the front too...
I'm thinking of moving on and trying something new this summer though...

If you plan on doing well with track days, you need to be looking at sping rates, not corrosion protection, or whos using what.......
Here goes...

get the TEIN FLEX for the ep3, and get the EDFC, with your sponsorship, the total wouldn't run more than 1200, and that set is friggin nice. My friend has a 98 civic, and he has the FLEX with EDFC's, and OMFG, it can be stiff when it wants, and can be soft on bumpy roads with a touch of a button! highly recommended.
flex with edfc doesn't work without modification...
after shopping around im either doing KWs or the D2s that are on the group buy. Both look promising.

I'll prob be getting the KWs with camber kits and possible sway bars. We shall see. Either way, once i get money for my shortblock I'll be buying it.

i've got the KW v2 set up
with the ingalls rear camber kit.
with neuspeed upper strut bar and a type S 19mm rear sway bar.
handling is good... tight on corners.
i have it set to 1/4 of a turn from soft on all four.
depending on the road conditions you have in your city..... that ride can feel really bumpy....
im in toronto, canada.. and in certain areas of the city... the roads are bad
even if the road seems to be straight and smooth.... you'll know that it's not when your car keeps bumping over it....
basically.. you'll feel everything on the street.
as for me.. im pretty much used to it.... i just watch out on what streets i go on...
and plus.. im also on 17in. rims.. w/205/45 tires... so with 17inch rims.. im more likely to feel more of the roads (bumpy) ..compared to 16inch or lower rims.
i've only been to a 1/4mile track with it... cant wait till i hit the circuit in May... and some autocross as well.
so if you're planning on driving your parents.. or your kids... expect them to say why it feels so bumpy....

Dude I have a NEAR IDENTICAL setup lol. Waiting on the KWs for next week. My rsx-s bar is already on, along with my neuspeed front upper. I have 215/40/17 parada spec-2s. I almost matched you perfectly lol.

I have KW V2s, Neuspeed fron Upper Strut Tower and Ingalls Rear as well. I have mine set to neutral. I am used to the stiff ride. I love my KW's. One of the best mods I have made to the car yet. I Have Tein SS and the ride is awesome. When the road is smooth the car rides like a dream and it owns the corners. My damper is at 10 (0 beging hardest ride and 16 being softest) and its awesome for daily driving. Even with the damper set at 10 the car holds the road tight at quick turns. I would strongly recommend SS cuz I love those damn things.
ive asked some people at KW about changing there spring rates but most of the time they tell me people ask them to be higher or that its already with comfort in mind, i keep hearing that the tein ss are more comfortable and so forth and that would make sense with the softer spring rates, they say they can cahnge the spring rates a little but is it worth it?

except for the front... it's about half a turn left from being at the lowest.
so it's another reason why i feel most of the shitty roads we have here in toronto.
when you say you have it set at neutral.. what do you mean by that?
i think we have about 6.5 turns in total on the dampering.. not 100% sure. cant remember off the top of my head.
i'll prolly be installing a rear upper strut bar and a lower tie bar as well.. and maybe an improved (bigger) front sway bar as well.. not sure about that one yet though.
i'll be hitting circuit on May 3rd. cant wait till i really test them out.
i have racing seats.. and when i make tight turns.. im usually moving in my seats. hahaha....
i guess i would have to get me some racing harnesses........ the s h i t part is that racing harnesses are illegal here in toronto.... i believe.
guess i'll see if i'll move out of me seats when im at the track this coming May.

Neutral is what they come out of the box at. I believe we have three full turns to the left or right from there.

Damn you people with money. I enjoy a comfortable ride. I'd go the teins on my vic. On my racing car, the kw's would be there.
does the kw upper mount only work with the kws or will it fit the tein ss?
