Exclamation Another Clicking Sound Thread....

Alright...heres the prob.....

I make a wide left hand turn...at 60km/h....or even do a uturn at like 10km/h...I hear a clicking sound...supposidly from my rear right side.....(g/f told me that's where the sound was comming from when she stuck her head out the window)....

Suspension = Koni Yellows, Ground Control Coilovers, 17inch Rims on 215\40\R17's....

Ne suggestions...on why there is a clicking sound....it goes click click click click....about that fast....as you can read it.....

Any ideas will help me find/locate the problem..and solve it...I just need a bunch of ideas....so I don't miss it..when I try to fix the problem...

Thanx for the help....

Could be either leakage in outer CV boots or leaking struts.

Actually, I agree w/ djmota. Your suspension looks good, if you were getting pops and clicks sporadically from bumps as well turns, then your struts might be going. I don't think that's the case, it is most likely your cv joints (if you hear constant clicking all the time then your outer and inner cv boots are cracked and leaking, causing the joints to click). Even if you stick your head out the sounds of clicking can seem to come from different directions, but I'm pretty sure it's your cv boots and/or joints. I had the same thing happen and I thought it was coming from my right side (from sounds), but was actually the left side. Hope this helps...
