why do you want to know the type r setup? its probably the same as our cars...
if you want a lil more aggresive setup do something like -.3 up front, -.8 rear

I also have another quick question. Im planning on buying the tein s tech lowering springs which lower the front 1.3" and rear 1.4". Since its not a significant drop, would I still have to purchase a camber kit, shocks, struts, or anything like that? Or will I be able to just change the springs and run on stock?

if you lower your car any at all, you should get a camber kit

O, ok thanks. I just thought it was like a rule of thumb only if you pass 2" will you need a camber kit. I could've sworn I remember reading somewhere on this forum that said a camber kit is not necessary unless its dropped more than 2". I just wanted to make sure though, if I really needed one or not.

You don't have to get a camber kit with ANY KIND OF DROP.
It just depends on how long you want your ish to last.
The only kit that claims no camber needed is Eibach prokit.

you should set your camber to....

1. the type of tires you are running
2. the type of suspension you are running (Springs/shock settings)
3. the type of driving you do
4. How long you want the tires to last

Camber settings for any street car from the factory will be rather conservative (Designed for Safty and Longevity of the tires, not for performance) no matter what the car, Type R or not.

No kidding. . . just because it's a Type-R doesn't mean the camber adjustment is going to be any more aggressive than our cars. They're set up to run well. . . and since they're a street legal car just like our Civics, they're going to be set up as such.

Now if you're setting up a car for a specific race type, THEN you'll be having camber adjusted to better-compete. . . but this is NOT what you want for everyday driving. Your tires' inside tread edges would be worn-down in a matter of a month or less.
