205-55-15's on a 2inch drop...its too much meat, but it makes up for the drop on stock shocks.

you've got a 2" drop on stock shocks! hows that holding up?

i'm only going to be dropped an inch so it might not be too meaty?

blew both fronts already ahahaha..im gettin blues and s techs in the mail soon and switching it out. I am about to be kitted and need to lift her up sum. IMO 205/55/15 is a good size for width and everything...my tires are like a year old, but they still have a lot of tread.

Just be mindful of the changes smaller tires will have on your ride.

Taking into account that your stock tires are 185/65/15

195/60/15: will drop your ride 0.1 inches and your wheel gap will appear 0.1 inches larger. When your speedo reads 60 MPH, your actually traveling 59.4 MPH

205/60/15: will raise your ride 0.1 inches and your wheel gap will appear 0.1 inches smaller. When your speedo reads 60 MPH, your actually doing 60.5 MPH

205/55/15: will drop your ride 0.3 inches and your wheel gap will appear 0.3 inches larger. When your speedo reads 60 MPH, your actually doing 58.6 MPH

205/50/15: will drop your ride 0.7 inches and your wheel gap will appear 0.7 inches larger. When your speedo reads 60 MPH, your actually doing 56.6 MPH

You can check the calculations here.

I personally had 205/50/15 at one time, and bottomed out everywhere cause of it (Miami roads suck). I stuck to 195/60/15 in the end.

If your confident with being lower, then by all means go for it.

Re: 185/65/15 or 195/60/15?

The data i mentioned stands true no matter the suspension. Changing to 205/50/15 will drop your ride by 0.7 inches whether you are at stock height or not.

So if your springs dropped you 1 inch, and then you put on the 205/50/15 tires, you will sit at a total of 1.7 inches lower.
