all i can say is you better not like acceleration. 20's have so much ****in drag. but as for your question, in my opinion i dont think youll be able to lower it and not have some kind of problem. its bound to hit somewhere. whether its when the wheels locked out or youre on an angle, im afraid it would rub somewhere. you would have to have absolutely no tire if it was possible to pull off a drop with 20's. but like i said, its only my opinion. cant say ive ever seen a vic dropped on twankies. a buddy had a 01 vic on 19s and when he had people in the back seat the rear tires rubbed when he hit dips and **** and he ended up after a few months blowin a rear tire. keep the fatties out.

your gonna need upgraded brakes since the wheels are so big unless you like wearing out your stock ones fast and having to brake very early. Your car is gonna be a lot slower also.... 20s dont belong on a civic sorry, buts its your car...hope those pics helped you out

you can do i have seen it done before, lowering with 20's, but yea it wont be really fun driving and your going to have to have a lot of custom work dont to the inside of ur wheel well so you dont rub just straight driving

do what you want to do...its ur car.....if you listen to what these ppl think then we all would have motegi's and post new threads about what other ppl think we should put on their cars...rofl......But there was a guy here who did have a bad accident with 20's. As long as you rive normal and upgrade ur brakes, u should be fine....

hahaha 12's, it would look like he was rolling on personal pan pizzas. haha.
this is way off topic, but does anyone remember "book it" from when they were young? you would read a book and get a sticker on this button you got from pizza hut, and when all the stickers were on there, you got a free personal pan pizza.
as for the 20's, good luck with it, it is your car. do your own thing and be proud of it. do it for you, not anyone else.

Think about all that weight! Esp. if they're chrome! Damn. That's all I can say. You're car will accelerate, brake, and turn like crap. I'd stay with 17s. Even 18s are stretching it a bit. Fender rolling, camber issues, stress on control arms and other suspension components. Yikes.
