j/k i've always been told it was bad even before i was in school, and every time i see painted calipers, i just cringe. i won't even ride in a car with them. i guess it's just "better safe than sorry." i'll diffently keep everyone posted though when i get some facts from some companies... People spray paint their intercoolers black sometimes using thin coats and there isn't a temperature difference afterwards.
