so my braking system feels rough/crapped out

car has 22k miles and never seen new fluids or pads ever since it was drove off the lot.

there were times where i had to slam the brakes due to other drivers cutting lanes etc etc.. my guess those were the times that really killed it. but im curious to know what should i be looking for. when i apply my brakes, it feels rough and not so sensitive?

is it the pads, brake fluids, what? throw some guessimates at me

edit: when i typed fluids, i meant brake/wheel related.

ya mine does that too. I think the rotors are warped cause it vibrates when braking at higher speeds. Brake fluid doesn't need changing for 3 years.

Must be a common thing with Japanese rotors, My Corolla needed new rotors at about 70K. I don't turn them, ever (kills them even quicker), Run them until you can't stand it any more and then replace them.

I have also had troubles with rear drums. If you pull up on the parking brake and get vibration and such they are probably out of round.

EX4Dr is an unknown quantity at this point
Warpped rotors can be eliminated with a bit of patience to perform a proper break-in and seanoning. If you don't do this, even the best rotors will warp. For instruction on how to do this visit the technical section on some the major aftermarket brake manufacturers. i.e. Baer or Stop-Tech.
