Anyone using Centering Rings...?
Will centering rings work with our car? It's winter time right now so I don't have the chance to test fit my new wheels to see if they'll work....

Well you need to buy the right rings for the car. The Hub is 56.1mm. You need a ring that matches the wheel bore to that diameter.

yep, need for motegis too...the material is also softer than the rims hub...it will reduce some vibration...buddy of mine left one out accidently...it was noticibly shakey!
hum ??
Hi!
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but
you don't NEED these rings if you are carefull
when you put the lugnuts. These rings act
like a guide to correctly allign the wheel with
the center of the hub but I cannot see how
they can help for vibration since they are not
verry tight between the hub and the back of the
wheel. Actually, if if try, I can move the ring
back and forth...

The place I bought my rims from forgot to put them on, when I braked, there was a huge shake. Afterwards I found out that right away you won't notice anything, but if you don't have them in, the rims will shake just a little bit. After you stop enough it will start to wigle the lugs loose, as you can guess this is a bad thing, then when you hit the brake it will shake alot, keeping riding like that and your lugs come off. I was just before the point where the lugs come off. I took the car in becasue I figured the rims where off balance, ends up half the lugs came off with your fingers after about 400 miles. Once I put the rings in, drove fine for 10k.

I contacted Discount Tire Direct in the past about some. I think they qouted me $8 with free shipping.
I had some American Racing alloys in the past. I contacted them about some, and they sent me a set for free.
