Toyo Proxes 4
I can honestly say this is the worst tire I have ever driven on.
There is a ridiculously scary amount of sidewall flex, it tracks from side to side, and any moment it feels like my *** is gonna start swinging all over the road.
*shivers*
do yourself a favor, and stay away from this tire.
I've had them for less than 2 days, and im already getting rid of them for some michelin pilot sport 2s.

ive had mine for about a week and a half. i already put about 1200 miles on them cause i drove to dallas and back. I love them so far. Great grip, comfy ride, did great in the rain this morning. The sidewall is soft, but not too soft to take a hard turn its not like im not using them for racing or anything. I read a ton of reviews before i bought mine and almost everyone loved them. i got 215/45/17.
i also have the 215/45/17's and they do flex a hell of a lot in the sidewall, especially compared to my ziex512's, but they were 40's not 45's. Anyway, if you really enjoy the handling aspect of your car, don't get them, but if you like a smoother, quieter ride, you will love them.

I have a set of 215/40/17 and they ride pretty well especially for being 40 series but like it has been said, the sidewall does tend to flex more then other tires. I have had mine on for 10k miles and there is still 80% of the tread left even with a lot hard driving. So far I like them.
If you want all out handling with no compromises this really isnt your tire. If you want something that is pretty quiet, sticky and rides really well then you may want to look into these.

I have the Proxes on 215/35/19 and I love them, the ride is smooth and quiet along with a 3 inch drop. I guess they're not really a great performance tire but better for daily driving.

I have these rires. keep in mind high performance tires handle terrible right off the bat.
after some wear they are awesome.
almost worn out they are at their best.
tread makes them sucky.
But if you would read a little about tires you would know that you have to break the tires in.

i have been through MANY different tires in my time and i love my proxes4's. i don't know what 75shot is talking about. (no offense 75 shot) maybe his suspension setup needs some work???

i dunno how people can hate them. i love my proxes 4s. they are an awesome tire.
maybe they will hold back an evo but they let my civic reach incredibly heights on stock suspension when it comes to turning.

definite truth right there.
on an evo, the tire is the weakest link. The stock suspension/chassis are rock solid and sends all the force to the tires. thats why the stock advans are hard as rocks and grip like krazyglue.

I got mine back a few months ago and just recently had to replace one due to a bubble in the sidewall, granted I did hit a big hole. They are ok but I prefer the paradas, I put them through hell and never had problems. As far as the way they handle, i'd also say my bald paradas handled better than the proxes.
