Cabin Air filter?

I can't seem to find the cabin air filter in my 2000 Honda Civic EX, is there even one?

No, they didn’t have them until ‘01.

Ah darn. Is the cabin air from the air coming in from the intake or does it have no filtering what so ever?

Comes in the cowl by the wiper linkage on the passenger side, there's like a mesh screen across the hole

Ok, did some deeper looking and there's a spot for a filter, but I don't know if anyone makes filters specifically for them. I got the measurements for the dimensions, and does anyone know what works for the 2000 Honda Civic EX? 9in x 8 1/4in x 1in

You could probably use the fiber type filters sold at lowes and HD. Just cut it to size.
