I have a RE Works stainless steel filter. I dont think I have any pics of mine so heres a few generic pic. You cant tell from this pic but the top is a open style element w/ a air horn to improve flow.

BTW to answer your K&N cleaning questions K&N sells a kit that includes a spray on cleaner that you just hose off and a special spray on oil to "re-activate" the filter. You can buy a "filter skin" (or use panty hose) to catch some of the dirt so you dont have to clean it as often.
Injen Race Division Intake w/2.5 cone blue K&N filt. There are "higher flow/perf." filters out there, like the mushroom-shaped foam ones, but the tradeoff is they get dirtier faster. I believe Hondas are to stay kosher with long intervals between between maintenence, and the K&N can go a long time before they need to be cleaned.
