Question first car tune up. Help a beginner honda lover

Service all the fluids, make sure to use the correct fluid. Air filter and fuel filter as well.

No need to change spark plugs if there isn't a misfire. However, if you do make sure to purchase NGK brand because they are the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). These engines are particular about replacement parts in order to function properly.

In conjunction with what Colin and B-chip posted, if you don't have service records or the previous owner didn't specify to you when the last timing belt change was, when fluids (coolant, oil, power steering fluid, automatic transmission fluid (if not manual transmission), brake fluid were charged then ideally it's best to do those items for the maintenance of your car.

Especially the timing belt because they do wear down and if it snaps it could potentially harm the engine by bending intake/exhaust vales in the cylinder head on these "interference" engines.
