Rep Power: 0 Damnit! Messed up my air filter!
It is such a bad time to be sick. Okay, I was in the middle of cleaning my air filter for my CAI and I had set the filter down on the floor in my room to dry. Then suddently I had to sneeze a coupe of times and something got in my eye and I couldn't see because the floor is as dark as the filter. I was trying to watch my step but I friggin stepped on my air filter. It bent slightly pretty bad but I don't want to keep it like this (even though I have to put it back on the car) and it doesn't look easily fixable. Could I call AEM and order another air filter? If I could, do you know how much it costs?
Son of a bish, I'm pissed.

Rep Power: 400 You should get a new one. If it's bent, you could have separated the layers and the filter may now be useless. Better safe than sorry. Either get a K&N Universal, or get another one from AEM. Either one should probably cost the same.

But my only question is I know there are a lot of K&N filters and they each have a part #. Happen to know it? Or do you think it'll be too easy to find? Just wondering.
I put it back on the car with little problem but I'm gonna get a newer one. The bent layers are still together but they are bent bad enough that it won't go back in place. Oh well. Accidents happen.

Rep Power: 344 oooh that sucks. as long as there's no crack, the filter should just work. I wouldn't worry about it too much, sure the airflow might be screwy a bit, but I'm sure u're still flowing in more than enough...
maybe you shoulda just stand still till you can open your eyes?
