Cool DIY Tune Up ?

I am planning to refresh the whip soon.
I will being doing timing/water pump, cam seals, valve cover gasket, valve adjustment. brakes, all fluids changed(trans included), etc. [Already did Spark Plugs]

Basically all nine yards almost haha. I am not super informed on the D17A2, are there any additional gaskets or seals I should look into
that have a possibility to leak at a older age besides what I'm already changing?

I will probably change those out as well if there are any.
All information or advice you have on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

I read the DIY Sections in the forum as well, I promise!
[2005 Honda Civic Ex Special Edition] Car just hit 126,000 Miles, I am the second owner so it was a good find for sure.

I am going to give Full Synthetic Quaker State(Read Good Things) a shot this upcoming oil change as well. I'll have that oil sent out for inspection.
I also have a Mr2 and all my buddies do the analysis on theirs and we compare. Highly recommend doing so, fun stuff to nerd out on haha.

If you read up to here, I appreciate you all <3 now go turn some wrenches

Re: DIY Tune Up ?

I would say replace the O-ring between the oil pump and block. It's a common cause of oil leaks. But, that would require dropping the oil pan and removing the oil pump while you have the timing belt off.
