I have a civic mk9 2.2 idtec,the alarm went off the other night so unlocked and locked all ok till 3am went off again,struggled to unlock it ,checked car all ok but then wouldn't lock,tried spare key ,wont lock so left it open .got up later on went out and engine warning came on then steering warning followed by doors open boot open traction control,so its like a Christmas tree,so scanned it and get p0504 powertrain,so cleared codes started it and engine management light still on drove it 3 miles and its all lit up again if I press brake pedal the open door and boot light goes off,checked brake light switch and that's fine,are there any common problems,its low mileage

so ive found nothing wrong with the car no bad connections no water or corrosion I disconnected the wiring in the boot lid as the brake lights were still flickering and all the faults disappeared apart from engine management light ,central locking works fine ,so scanned it code p0504 again so cleared it ran the car for a week with no problems or warnings ,reconnecter boot lid wiring and been using it for 2 weeks with no faults at all
