Screeching sound when heat or ac turned on.
My 2004 Honda civic makes a sound that sounds like a belt slipping, but only when first starting the car, or if the heat or ac fan is on. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

i had a similar issue couple weeks ago when i finished assembling a cylinder head gasket job. all i did was to check and give the right tension to the belts. so after doing it if sound persist, replace the belt. pulleys will make it all the time not only at the start.

Something jammed in the blower motor maybe if its not the belts
