05 civic lx A/C refrigerant or oil
Hey there awesome people
about my car a civic 05 lx never had AC refrigerant put in since I had the car new, the air has been kinda not cold enough in hot weather for years now, so I wanted to know any recommendations to follow on what to do to change or add more refrigerant on top of it or the required pressure it needs or if I should add refrigerant with oil in it? Thanks you all so much people

take it some where to get the system recharged because you most likely do not have the correct tools to do it properly

After 14 years it probably needs a little freon added to the system.
It's far too easy to overcharge these small systems, IMO it's best to have a pro charge it by weight

Another thought
You could make sure both radiator fans work
and since the front of the car collects bugs and dirt, thoroughly wash the condenser and radiator to ensure good airflow through all the little fins

IDK. Search local parts stores online?
Also you need to know what type of band clamp you have.
One type I used to use diagonal cutters to tighten (until a better choice came along)
Another type that's just a super long band, I used to borrow the tool from another tech
Rebooting a cv joint is a messy ordeal, and most aftermarket boots just suck.
Sometimes you can buy a whole axle from aftermarket for the price of an OE boot lol

Other thing I really need to solve is the power steering pump, about 8 years ago someone put other steering fluid in it and never been the same since then, I took it to someone to fix it and it worked for a few years and then started again with the noise and I bought some tiny bottle of some oil liquid to fix noise and did well. When the car is stopped with engine running after a while beings the noise again and also happens really bad if I turn the wheel a few times exiting parking like if something heats up in it. My question if I can repair it my self? I found there to be seal kits for it
