AC problem help!!!!
AC problem help!!!!
so I set my car, civic 02 lx, for 3 months, not running it.
after a while, the ac stopped working, but when I bypassed it,(i cut the red wire and the blue wire from the condenser and bypassed), it was working. but the switch was reversed. if i turn on the ac and ac stops and if I turn off the ac and ac starts on.
my mechanic said that the relay system does not ground the ac. so when i checked the forum, it was because of the bad thermal protector.
so i heard that it was the reason for the bad thermal protector and i replaced the whole compressor since i could not take the thermal protector only from the compressor.
now it is working without bypassing, but still, the switch is reversed.
after i run the car for awhile and when the engine gets hot, i can not turn off the ac with the switch
is it because of the bad climate control unit? or ecu?
how can i determine it?
