START THE CAR WITHOUT TURNING KEY 7th GEN

***MUST HAVE KEY // WONT WORK WITHOUT KEY***

Key wont turn in ignition? Need to get the vehicle started?
beware not to turn to far and initiate the steering lock, if you cant unlock it.

This will help you get your 2003 (possibly all 7th gen) Civic started without turning the key.

Please disconnect your battery, my dudes.

IF you can acess your ignition assembly, Youll find:

Two GREEN plugs to the right by the ignition (immobilizer related, do not disconnect).

3 plugs above steering collumn (2 large, 1 small) Do not disconnect.

1 plug at bottom left closest to door. (Large brown or red plug) i believe this to be the ignition switch itself.. could be wrong.
^^^^^^^^
This will need to be disconnected.
On this component, you will find a black plastic cover that clips on, remove this.

Now the you'll find the actual component that is held on by two small screws, remove these and gently pull component off and reconnect the brown/red plug.

I have a hard plastic stereo tool that i used but im sure a key will work as well.

Once reconnected i inserted the small plastic tool and twisted just like starting regularly. (Without the key in the ignition, this wont work.)

Car started right up.

Hope this helps some of you.

Ive seen about 10 posts all over the internet asking about this with no answers.

Also, this will in NO WAY help you steal the car. One last time... IT REQUIRES THE KEY IN THE IGNITION.

Have a good day, buds.
