Exclamation Transmission compatibility/clutch kit

Hello! I am very new to the mechanical side of cars. I’m usually more into body mods, so please keep that in mind that it’s not always easy for me to understand !(: I have 1996 Honda Civic EX. It’s D15B V-Tec. I spoke to my friend and he recommended a 1992-2000 Honda Civic Ex D16y8 Rebuild Transmission S40 B000. Is that a good transmission to go with? If you have any opinions please include a clutch kit and flywheel I should use with the transmission. I’m not being cheap with it, but I’d like it to be somewhat affordable. I prefer a stage 2 clutch. . Also, if you recommend any specific master cylinders. Thank you!!

Re: Transmission compatibility/clutch kit

Re: Transmission compatibility/clutch kit

Should be a little barcode/sequence of letters and numbers on your trans. If it starts with s40 then the kit will work.
look for something like this
