Looking For Bolts [solved]
Looking For Bolts [solved]
I was doing an alternator swap on my Honda Civic 1999 EX and got stuck halfway through when I realized that I snapped the bolts that connected the outlet line to the power steering pump. I've been searching everywhere for replacement bolts.
The way I see it, I have 2 options:
1. Buy a new power steering pump.
2. Drill the other half of the bolts out.
Either way, I will need new bolts.
None of the Honda OEM parts sites seem to even acknowledge these bolts, and if they do - it's not obvious to me. The official manual for my car (page 228) shows the two bolts in question (vertical). Side note, the manual does not identify the mm size, only the Nm value.
Which approach should I take, and what's the parts number for these outlet line bolts? I guess it's impossible to optimize for both cost and time/effort here.
Thanks in advance.
