I am having issues with the door locks. The key fob doesn’t work anymore to unlock the door. The switch inside the car doesn’t work either. I checked the 7.5a fuse under the steering wheel but it was good. Any ideas?

check wires at door hinges.

I checked the wiring at the driver door hinge and didn’t see any wiring issues.

checked door lock switch - all good

picked up a door lock module to try and replace - no change

checked power on door lock pins - Battery voltage on all 3 pins.

- must be a short somewhere… any ideas other than driver door hinge?

you will need to take it apart and check - aside form the most common issue at hinges, could be anywhere.

removed entire door and checked wiring at driver door hinge. One broken wire. Soldered a new piece of wire and shrink tube both splices - works like new again!
