How screwed am I?
While extracting a busted valve cover bolt (the first oopsie) on my 2000 Civic (Euro spec 1.4), the extractor bit slipped out and fell down this hole:



How screwed am I?

Specifically, where does this hole go? Oil pan? Crankcase?

Any ideas for how to save myself? Drop the pan? Fish it out with a magnetic cable?

Likely to the oil pan. Most of us are in the US/Canada where we didn't get those models. I'm assuming this is a D series, should be similar to the ones we got.

Could try a magnet on a stick. Or just pull the oil pan and hope that it's in there
