Angry valve cover bolt nut broke idk

where the bolt screws from the valve cover it broke and a pice fell where the oil drains down... civic d16y7 1997... am i screwed or can it be replaced help please

The bolt can be replace you are going to have to TAP it out...When you say a piece fell where the oil drains where exactly do you mean? internal of the motor???

You need to get that piece out. Drain your oil and see if its there. If not pour oil into the valve assembly area with your oil drain bolt out and pray it comes out.

Yes it went in the engine and the bolt didn't brake where it screws in.... Like when you put the valve cover and your puting the bolts the one on the bottom left corner broke and I pulled out the bolt it was fine but the inside was ducked

Post pictures it sounds like you cracked a piece on the head?

I got the piece out but now I still have the broken thing it has a number 1 on it and theres other ones that have numbers it starts where the belt is hooked with 1 then to all the way to 5.. Ends at the other side of the head... My pictures have to much pixels..

How did you manage to get the piece out?

Is it a piece on the Valve cover itself or the engine?
