How do you remove this from the block?
So I'm just getting into this 99 Civic DX. I'd like to start cleaning the engine. I'm in BC, Canada, so we get a lot of moisture.

Is there any good way to get this sort of scale off the motor?? Thanks so much!

Wire wheel or scotchbrite. Not worth the effort in my opinion.
