My Project Bubble....
My Project Bubble....
This is my 1994 Honda civic CX. The car was bought as a shell and started from scratch. I choose to paint the car flat black to hold me off until i get a professional paint job. The car has a stock b16 under the hood which is also a temp motor until my build is complete. Pics are from the start when i got the car till the present date. Let me know what you think so far.... Thx
This pic was how the previous owner had the car....

front end looks bare thanks to the snow that cracked my lip. Got a new one but too cold to put it on...lol

These are the most up to date pics of my car....
Finally put my front Mugen urethane lip, took the tyc headlights out and went back to stock with 12,000 Hid's, sold my circuit 8's and went with some gold gt3's.

These are a few toy's I have for my project....

Re: My Project Bubble....
thats awesome. i've never been a fan of that golden eagle thing on the rear bumper, but the car looks hot. i love flat black. you should have painted the engine bay with it too.
Re: My Project Bubble....
Thank you very much.... yea I definitely regret not painting the engine bay but i was pressed for time to drop in my motor and have the car on the road. Now when I do the other setup i will be fixing up the engine bay.
Re: My Project Bubble....
those cars can look so stupid or look sooo nice...there is no middle and u definatly hit up the soo nice section! the rims are beautiful and the flat black really gives it that sleeper look. what motor is going? or are u gona build the b16

Re: My Project Bubble....
Thanks for the great feedback guy's....
Thanks, As for the motor that is going in the car it is a 84.5mm Dart block, CP 9.0:1 comp pistons, Manly turbo tuff rods, eagle crank and many other things. The head is a built B16 head, tranny is a JDM type r w/ 4.7 final drive, and LSD. There are many parts that I still need to buy before I will start my build. I will make sure to keep posting pics as I do more mods to the car.

Re: My Project Bubble....
It's called a diffuser made by Golden Eagle. I believe the purpose of it is to help with down force and allowing the air that travels underneath the car to escape through the holes instead of getting caught in the rear bumper. I think it would serve a better purpose on the track at high trap speeds but for now it is more for looks then functionality. Hopefully when I'm done with the car it will serve it's true purpose...lol

Re: My Project Bubble....
i like it all except the diffuser but if they will serve a purpose down the road than ok. What part of NY are you from?
