I'm not impressed. It's just a huge block of metal with a shiny outside and some nice features. And it's too expensive. I'd save my money for something else. I have no need for a battleship sized car.

Rep Power: 0 BTW, to everyone that's dissing big cars, especially the audi: did you see ronin? that was the S8, a twin-turbo version of the A8. remember the ***** that thing had in the movie!?! it may be huge, but that thing can move! even 3-ton bentleys can do 0-60 in 6 seconds.

Rep Power: 396 Looks like a phat a6 mixed with the passat. I used to work for an Audi dealer and I loved driving the A8. That car was powerful....4.2 litre V8 and $72,000 plus. For an even trade I would drop my civic in a second....but to buy, I wouldnt spend that much scratch on a car...I would rather put that money towards a house.

With a chip, turbo downpipe and exhaust the old S4 could run low 12's. Neuspeed makes a ton of aftermarket performance stuff for Audi's, as do several other companies.

Civicballer: Can't mod Audi's? You must be joking or really misinformed. Almost all of the turbo ones gain a lot of power simply from a chip and other simple mods. Try doing that with other cars.
As someone THEANTIRICEST said it before, there's too many Civics running around, not Audis.

Rep Power: 0 WTF boy are some of you people ignorant! Audis are pimp rides especially the A8. the A8 IMO is the ultimate full size sedan! The new S4 is a compact car packing a 300 something hp w8 and 4wd. thats pimp OK? Civics aint really sheit compared to an Audi.

Rep Power: 0 Too many Audi's ? Damn right. Just get you butts over here in Europe and you'll be just as bored with them as you are with Civic's and Accord's. VW same story. We need like more MG, Aston Martin, Maserati and Lancia on the streets 
Every car brand has it's top of the line. This new A8 looks impressive and better then the new BMW 7 series. But I wouldn't say I like it. There's more beautiful stuff out there, with a lot less features, performance or even quality. I would trade my Civic for this. But I'll drive straight to the Audi dealer and sell it to make better use of the cash. Don't expect everyone to like it just because it's so good. Almost all the automotive industry analists and critics say the BMW 7 series is the best car in the world. But only a small portion of them also liked it for looks or style. It's still a matter of taste. And we do have a lot of taste don't we ? We all drive Honda's !!
