97 DX Hatchback Automatic

Honestly don’t know what to do next, I tried doing homework but it didn’t help. When I’m driving 5-10 mph it’s great. Any faster than that, the car bogs. Bogs badly. Rpm’s go down, go up at random moments. I changed the idle air control valve, didn’t work. I changed my tps, nothing. Changed map, nothing. Maf, nothing. So I tried Lucas, not much difference. Cleaned fuel injectors, a little better. Changed fuel filter, I saw dramatic difference. However, it still bogs and hesitates at times. The rpm’s go up while I’m idiling. Please provide help if you can, but I really don’t know what to do.

I doubt what I’m gonna say will help, but previous owner had rattle can spray painted the engine bay, seemingly without covering anything. I don’t think this could be causing anything, but then again, I don’t know.

Re: 97 DX Hatchback

so likely it's not having enough fuel, troubleshoot that. Can even be fuel pump electric connectors

Hello! I had gotten this car from a trade. The car had been already having this issue before I had received it. Previous owner said it was the idle air control, which he had provided me the new one. I replaced it, and it didn’t help the problem.
