Hi so i have a 97 civic cx model 5 speed. I bought it and it was running great got to driving it and was cruising down highway going 80km/h driving at constant speed when it loses power all of a sudden if you let off gas then back on it gains power again but then it will occur again and again. I have just replaced plug fuel filter distributor cap and rotor?! and its still happening! any body have any ideas?! it has fresh oil all fluids are topped up..battery is a couple years old but that shouldnt matter? car idles rough somtimes when at idle will sound like its very low rpm then kick into high rpm? anyone ever have this happen?! any help would be gladly appreciated... blows some blue smoke after idling for to long as well.
