1998 Civic EX Coupe Engine knocking/clunking while idle and when accelerating

So today I was driving home on the highway going pretty fast and there was no noise at all then as I got off the highway I started hearing a knocking/clunking noise from my front end any time I tried to accelerate then when I got home and let the car idle it continued to make the clunking noise while idle and ideas?
P.S please don’t question why it’s one big sentence

Why’s it one big sentence?

If it’s knocking while idling, that’s more than likely an engine noise, probably bottom end. Feel free to post a video in order for us to get a better idea.

Learn how to use punctuation....

So engine knocking?
Belt drive driven component making noise?
Fan?
Check engine oil level, but if the engine is knocking you need a new engine.
