hey yall, so I recently bought a straight piped ej8. I was wondering if i could still bring back the oem exhaust or put a aftermarket exhaust (spec d n1 style catback) without welding anything? Hope this one help others. Thanks

With enough clamps, sure. Are you trying to do it yourself? An exhaust shop wouldn’t charge a whole lot to just weld it on.

If the straight pipe (in place of catalytic convertor) is bolted in place then an oem cat convertor should bolt in also. If that straight pipe is welded in then the cheapest option would be an aftermarket cat that welds in place.

Take pics of the current straight pipe/exhaust and post here if you need more clarification.
