Rep Power: 0 Oil pressure from breather box
Hi, looking for some advice. Im currently getting oil pressure forcing all the engine oil out the top of the pcv/breather box on the back of my b16a2 as soon as engine is started.
The cylinder head has been off to replace gaskets and fix some minor oil leaks but the bottom end was untouched. Is it possible something has been connected up wrongly?
I have removed the breather box to try get a better understanding of how it works and to check if any of the baffles are loose but it just looks like an empty box. The rubber seals on the top have went really hard which won’t help them seal but from my understanding it shouldn’t have to deal with actual oil pressure like it’s currently experiencing.
Has anyone had or heard of a similar issue? As I’m hoping the engine doesn’t need stripped again but it’s not looking hopeful.
TIA
