Oil pressure help

Ok I have asked before but i need to ask again, what is your oil pressure after driving the car for a while AT IDLE. When I start my civic I get 80 psi of oil pressure, and it will stay that way for a couple of minutes. While its still idels the pressure drops ( because its warming up) to about 10 psi of oil pressure. After driving the car and getting the oil hot , the oil pressure drops to about 4 psi.
Whats yours at?
I have already changed the oil pump inspected the bearing and there in spec.
COmpression check is fine, and the engine only has 40,000 miles on it.

Also, I have ran syntec, 10w30, syntec 5w20. and regular honda 5w20, and i still get the same pressure.

Depends what and where you measure it from, but single digits is too low. Mine warm idles between 14 and 17, and I'm measuring it at the remote filter 4' from the block.

im measuring mine directly off of the block , and i have measured it with 2 different oil pressure gauges. Oil mech, one elect, and same results.

4 psi? Are you sure? If your car was running at 4 psi at idle you would defiantly hear a lot of ticking and maybe knocking. Maybe you're not getting a good reading from your gauges, are the gauges you're using directly connected to the block with oil running right into them, or are they the ones that connect to a sensor. If they're electric gauges running off a block sensor then you're not going to get a correct reading. If the gauge is the type where the oil runs through a line right to the gauge, then you need to make sure you purge the air from the line.

DOne both, same results. ANd yes there is a knock when i turn the ac on . The oil pressure isnt reading right on both gauges. I had a 12inch steel braded line hooked to a mech gauge and still the same pressure. I have now an autometer colbalt gauge with sending unit, and im getting the same results straight off of the back of the block.

Since you replaced the oil pump, the only other thing I can think of would be a oil return blockage somewhere. I've seen things like the small piece foil from the top of a oil bottle clog returns, or maybe something came lose inside the engine and is blocking a return. I find it hard to believe you could have a oil sludge problem at 40,000 miles (unless you never changed the oil).
