Fog light harness has no power [solved]

The brown one pin connector that comes stock with the car has no current running through it. The ground is fine. The interior is wired fine. I checked the ground in the putter harness and it worked. I just need help figuring out how to get power through the oem brown one pin connector.

Is there a fuse installed in the fuse block for that wire?

I tried looking for the fuse under the dash and I couldn’t find it. I saw another forum where the guy says it’s hidden in the top left of the fuse box But I still haven’t found it

Check this link.. Honda Civic Fuses, scroll down in the 2008-2009 layout and assignment for the under dash fuse box.
Assuming its a factory optioned fog light, if after market all bets are off, it could have been tapped of from anywhere.

re: Fog light harness has no power [solved]

What year is your Civic? I bought the AJP Fog Light Kit for a Christmas present to my brother for his 1999 Civic. We installed it and it was working great. Last week, one of the bulbs stopped working and a few days later the other fog light also stopped working. We checked with a voltmeter and had 12 volts at both plugs. My brother wanted some brighter bulbs so he got the 100 watt to replace the 55 watt bulbs. This is where things went bad. We turned them ON and they went ON but then OFF with the switch in the ON position. The control voltage from the fuse panel to the fog light switch/relay is still working. But the bigger gauge wire that has the inline 15 Amp fuse that plugged into the fuse panel doesn't have any voltage on it. So we ran a new +12 volt wire to the battery positive post. We moved the 15 Amp fuse/holder to the battery. We connected the wires and now the fog lights are working again. Here is the issue, the interior HVAC fan blower doesn't work but was working correctly before we upgraded the fog light bulbs. I think part of the under dash fuse panel has gone bad. So far the fan blower is the only item not working. I have been looking for some electrical schematics/drawings for this circuit and haven't found any on this site. On some other vehicle forums I'm on, they have a section just for electrical schematics/drawings. I may be overlooking it but haven't found any. Good luck on your fog lights!

have you put the 55W bulb back?
the 100W likely pulled too much power

re: Fog light harness has no power [solved]

Both 55 watt bulbs are bad. We checked them with my multimeter and they showed open in the ohm setting. The grounding wire was loose in both fog light fixtures. We have ran a new power wire straight from the battery to the fog light relay. Fog Lights with the new 100 watt bulbs are working now. My brother told me that the dash Blower wasn't working but was working before we upgraded the fog lights. I found that the fuse and relay for the blower motor is fed from the under hood fuse panel and not from the dash fuse panel. So he may have a different issue. The drawings may be wrong but we will do some more troubleshooting on it. Thanks.

FYI, we checked the under hood panel fuse & relay for the blower motor which they were good. We found a bad interior fuse in the under dash fuse panel for the HVAC Controller (7.5 amp). Replaced it and the blower is working again.
